I installed the application, but it doesn't start or exits
without a message. What happens?

Probably your antivirus issues a false positive and blocks
the application.
Insert the application executable in the white list of all your antivirus, if
you downloaded it from this web site for sure it's a safe application.

Do the applications need other Cad software to work?
|
No, our applications include all the features you need to
create the right cutting path.
You just must have an application that reads the cutting paths and drive your
CNC machine, like Mach3 or EMC2 for example.

Do the applications direct drive the CNC
machine?
|
We don't offer direct drive features, as there are to many
CNC controllers to make robust and well working features.
Offering direct drive features is an old way to go, the right way now is to
create standard cutting files, then interpreted by applications like Mach3 or
EMC2.
Our applications can offer different cutting file formats, like GCode/ISO/nc,
DXF, DAT, Hpgl/Plt, CUT (Gmfc cutting file).
Our suggested cutting file format is GCode/ISO/nc.

How can I buy a license and how will I get it?
|
To buy a license just use the right PayPal button included
in the Prices and Purchasing page. If
you are inside the Euro zone you can also make a bank transfer, contact us for
more details.
You can select to have a license as a soft key or as a
Usb key:

Soft key: in this case after the purchasing you will be prompted to send us the
Pc Code of your computer. You can find this code by the 'Registration - Insert
password' menu of the application. We will send you as soon as possible the
soft key (a password). You must just insert it in the application and you can
start to work immediately.

Usb key: in this case we will ship you a
Usb key, working as a dongle. This Usb
key includes also the setup files of the application(s). Waiting for
the Usb key you can have a temporary
Soft key, the above case, in this way you can start to work immediately.

Does the application license expires?
|
| No. You can use the license for an unlimited time.
|

I have 2 (or more) computers, do I need multiple licenses?
|
It depends on the license type (A, B or C). See the Prices and Purchasing page to have more info about.
If you have more computers, you have two options:

To buy more discounted licenses

To buy the Usb key. In this way the
license will be stored inside the Usb key
itself. Just plug the Usb key into the
computer where you need to run the application.

What happens to my license if/when I change the computer?
|
Two different possibilities:

You own the Usb key. In this case just
plug in the Usb key
into the new computer.

You don't own the Usb key. In this case
simply write to us by email, describing what happened (new computer, broken
hardware and so on). We will supply a new password for the new computer.

I need to use multiple applications among devFoam, devFoam
Pro, devFus Foam, devFus, devCad, devWing, Profili Pro and I want to use the
Usb key as licensing system. Do I need an Usb key for each application?

| No, a single Usb key
can include the licenses of all out applications.

What happens if I have the Usb key and I need new
applications or upgrade to a new version?
|
You don't need to buy a new Usb
key, nor sending it back to us.
We will send you by email a special password, just insert it in the application
and the new license will be stored inside your Usb
key.

What happens if my Usb key stops to work?
|
| Just send it to me, I'll check it and if damaged I'll send you a new one,
if the warranty is not expired. If the warranty expired you can purchase a new Usb key,
but you haven't to pay for new licenses.

What happens if my Usb key gets stolen or I lose it?
|
| Just send me an official document signed by the police authority
describing what happened, then you can purchase a new Usb key.
Doing that You haven't to pay for new licenses.

How does your upgrade policy works?
|
| The updates of release 2 of Profili (all versions) are for free.
|
|
Do you have local resellers?
|
No, we prefer to distribute the applications by ourselves.
Doing that:

The price is as low as possible, as the distributors chain is null.

You have direct assistance from the developers/testers, so you can ask to the
people having the right know-how to answer to your questions .
