This type of polar generation is very powerful
and lets you to create your own analysis criteria.
You can select different airfoils and Reynolds number, but you can also
apply modifications to the airfoil, without having to explicitly create
new ones, and can also add a turbolator.
By clicking this button
on the toolbar you can open the dialog window:
where you can define all the parameters for the polars you are going to
draw.
For every of the 8 polars by clicking on the button "Set..." you can see the dialog
where you can select the airfoil, the Re number and apply a lot of modification. In this example
we'll study how placing a turbolator in different points of the chord affect the polars.
Clicking 'Draw' this new document will appear:
where you can see the Cl(Cd) graph.
